Day one - It Starts

So... After all this time, all the waiting, The tour starts!!!

The day started at 3am after the traveling etc.. we got to heathrow and all checked in by 7.30. We had a few hours to kill so a few pints and breakfast went down then it was time to board.

The plane journey was pretty cool (Thanks to the air hostesses i must add... Becky, Aimee and Rosie we'll see you on the strip). Free booze, good food and the next thing we know its L.A

Walking out of the airport, reality kicked in...WE'RE FUCKING HERE!!! I couldn't believe the sight of yellow taxis and highway signs... its the kinda thing you only see in the movies.

So we pick up the van and head to find TM's pad. After an hour of driving we find it. Living over a liquor store. Could it get any better?

he band are outside waiting for us and after introductions we go inside (with crate of bud i must add) unload and hang out with johnny. We talk for a while and he goes off to sound check for a political fundraiser. We carry on hanging out =,having a few beers and chatting to people.

after a few hours we go for food and to do some shopping. Walking down Santa Monica BVLD at 9pm listening to rock music coming out of shops, we stop have a massive burger and then decided thats killed us off and we need to crash.

So sat on a balcony, having a beer and fag and staring at the hollywood sign in front of us, we end our first day... The adventure starts here
